Venon terms of service
These terms (“Terms”) govern use of the Venon Discord bot and its associated administrative dashboard and API (together, the “Service”). Use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the Terms. Last updated: August 5, 2026.
1. Definitions
- Service Provider — the entity operating the Service, reachable at legal@venon-sec.xyz.
- Bot — the Discord application that operates on servers (guilds) after installation.
- Dashboard — the web dashboard used to configure the Service’s modules.
- Server Administrator — the person managing a Discord server who adds and configures the Bot.
- User — a member of a Discord server on which the Bot operates.
2. General provisions
The Service is intended for Discord server administrators and supports server security, moderation and community development. Using the Service requires a Discord account and compliance with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
3. Scope of the Service
The Service includes security modules such as verification, anti-raid protection, automatic moderation, link filters and logs, as well as moderation tools, community modules, the Dashboard and API. Features may be developed, modified or restricted, and individual modules may be offered in free and paid versions.
4. Conditions of use
- The Server Administrator must have the permissions needed to add and configure the Bot.
- Use of the Service must comply with Polish law, EU law and Discord’s terms.
- Certain features, such as activity monitoring, must only be used lawfully and after informing Users where required by law.
5. Server Administrator responsibility
The Server Administrator is responsible for correct module configuration, roles and permissions, and moderation decisions made using the Service, including warnings, timeouts and bans. The administrator is the controller of their server’s Users’ personal data under the GDPR, while the Service Provider acts as a processor for the Bot and Dashboard features.
6. Prohibited activities
- Using the Service for activities contrary to law, Discord’s terms or accepted standards of conduct.
- Attempting to bypass security measures, gain unauthorised access, overload the API or disrupt the Service.
- Using the Service for harassment, unlawful surveillance, discrimination or violations of Users’ privacy.
- Reselling or making the Service available to third parties without the Service Provider’s consent.
7. Availability and nature of the Service
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. The Service Provider makes efforts to keep it operating, but does not guarantee continuous, error-free or uninterrupted availability, particularly during maintenance, outages, force majeure or changes to the Discord platform.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, loss of data or the consequences of moderation decisions made by server administrators and moderators. These limitations do not exclude or restrict liability where mandatory law prohibits doing so, including in relation to consumers.
9. Personal data
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy policy. By using the Service, the Server Administrator undertakes to inform Users about the Bot to the extent required by data protection law.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, its code, brand, interface and documentation belong to the Service Provider and are protected by law. These Terms transfer no intellectual property rights to administrators or Users beyond the right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
11. Complaints
Complaints can be sent to legal@venon-sec.xyz. Please describe the problem and provide contact details. We respond without undue delay and no later than 30 days after receiving the complaint.
12. Applicable law and dispute resolution
Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish and EU law. Consumers may use out-of-court complaint resolution procedures, including the EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). Disputes with businesses are heard by the court with territorial jurisdiction over the Service Provider’s registered office.
13. Changes to the Terms
The Service Provider may update the Terms as features develop or legal requirements change. Significant changes are announced on the official Discord server. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
