A Polish-speaking Discord moderation bot needs at least five things: slash commands with Polish descriptions, a penalty system with history (warn, mute, kick, ban), moderation logs carrying the reason and the author of the action, protection against raids and spam, and a web panel a non-technical person can configure. If any of those is missing, the team sooner or later adds a second bot and loses the shared history of actions. This guide gives you a checklist for comparing bots plus an honest description of what Venon Security does and does not do.

What the problem is
A typical server assembles its moderation from several bots: one does warnings, another tickets, a third logs, a fourth anti-raid. Each has its own panel, its own permissions and its own database. The result is that in a dispute over a penalty nobody can reconstruct a member's full history, and during an incident you have to check four different log channels.

Collect your server's requirements
Before you compare bots, write down what you actually need. Most disappointment comes from choosing by feature count rather than by fit with the team's processes.
- Moderation: do you need warnings to expire and penalties to escalate automatically?
- Protection: have you had raids, or rather individual spammers?
- Support: tickets with categories and a transcript, or is a report channel enough?
- Team: how many people should have panel access, and are all of them server administrators?
Go through the moderation checklist
This is the minimum whose absence you notice in the first month. Venon meets every point on this list — check them the same way with any other candidate.
- The full set of penalties: /warn, /unwarn, /mute, /unmute, /kick, /ban, /temporary-ban (a temporary ban), /clear.
- A reason on every penalty and the option to act quietly (the silent parameter) without announcing it in the channel.

Check the protection and the logs
Moderation without protection is firefighting, and protection without logs is decisions without evidence. Check those two together.
- Anti-raid thresholds measured on joins and messages, not just a word filter.
- A link filter with a domain allowlist and a way for members to report suspicious addresses.
- Separate log categories — Venon has twelve, among them Moderation, Deleted messages, Roles, Invites, Voice.
- A log access role, so the audit channels are not visible to the whole server.
Check the panel and how access is split
Panel → Server → Panel access and Server → CommandsA panel stops being a gadget the moment there are more than two moderators. What matters is not the panel itself, but whether you can give somebody access without making them a server administrator.
- Panel access: Discord administrators plus operators added by ID.
- Power Role: assigning specific commands to specific roles, with a cooldown and a list of allowed channels.
- The change log: who changed what in the configuration, and when.
Test it on a test server

- Run /help to see how many commands are available to an ordinary member and how many to the staff.
- Warn a test account and check whether the direct message is understandable to the person receiving it.
- Check that the log contains the moderator, the reason and the case number.
Roll out in stages, not all at once
Turning ten modules on in one day guarantees you will not know which of them is causing a problem. The order below works on most servers.
- Week 1: moderation and logs.
- Week 2: verification and onboarding.
- Week 3: AntiRaid and content protection, with the thresholds watched live.
- Later: tickets, levels, giveaways and the remaining community modules.

How to check the configuration worked

After the rollout every moderator can issue a penalty without asking about the syntax — if not, the commands are split badly in Power Role.

For any member you can reconstruct the full penalty history from one place in a minute.

Every automatic action by the bot has a log entry with the reason, not just the fact that a message was removed.

Someone who is not a server administrator can change a setting in the panel, because they were given operator access.
Diagnostics
When something does not work
The bot starts duplicating another bot's functions on the server.
- Cause
- Two bots react to the same event — both remove links, say, or both grant a role on join.
- Fix
- Keep one responsibility in one bot. In Venon, switch the conflicting function off on the relevant panel screen instead of removing the whole bot.
Moderators cannot see the slash commands.
- Cause
- The bot was invited without the applications.commands scope, or the command is restricted by a Discord permission.
- Fix
- Invite the bot again with a link carrying that scope, and check in Panel → Server → Commands whether the moderator role has that command assigned in Power Role.
You lose the penalty history when changing bots.
- Cause
- Bots do not share databases — the history stays with the previous provider.
- Fix
- Before migrating, export or archive the log channel. Plan a transition period as well, with the old bot still on the server in read-only mode.
Honestly
What this configuration does not solve
Venon is not a music or economy bot — it does not play music and does not run a shop with a server currency.
There is no integration with external ticketing systems such as Jira or Zendesk; tickets live on Discord and in the panel.
It offers no image moderation and no analysis of voice content — the filters work on text, links and account metadata.
It will not replace a moderation team. It automates repetitive decisions, but disputes and appeals are still settled by people.

FAQ – common questions
Does a moderation bot have to have a dashboard?+
It does not have to, but with a team of more than two moderators a panel saves hours. What matters is that it grants access without granting server administrator permissions, and that it records the history of configuration changes.
Do messages in the member's own language really matter?+
They do, because the penalty message is read by the penalised member, and the verification instructions are read by somebody visiting your server for the first time. A message in the wrong language increases the number of questions to the staff.
Can you use several moderation bots at once?+
You can, but keep each responsibility in one bot. Two bots deleting the same messages produce duplicate logs and contradictory penalties, and during an appeal there is no telling which of them made the decision.
